The Hockey Show - Episode 109

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced hockey radio show, is back tonight with a very special guest! Rarely do we here at The Hockey Show wade into the complex world of fashion unless some team decides to overhaul their look, but tonight we will jump into the deep end of the fashion world as we welcome one of Toronto's foremost experts in men's fashion to the show!

You may not recognize the man to the left, but you will instantly recognize his work. This is Mr. John Corallo, and Mr. Corallo owns a high-end men's clothing store in Toronto called The Coop Ink. Mr. Corallo has outfitted some of Toronto's most illustrious athletes, but the one man who takes all his business to The Coop Ink is Donald S. Cherry of Coach's Corner fame! Yes, Mr. Corallo is the man who pieces together Mr. Cherry's suits that he's seen in every Saturday, and we're honoured and privileged to be able to talk to the man who puts Mr. Cherry in his dapper suits!

We'll talk to Mr. Corallo about life as a kid in Toronto, how he got into the men's fashion business, how his relationship with Mr. Cherry started, some of his favorite jackets that he's fashioned for Mr. Cherry, some of the other people he's had the opportunity to meet through his business, whether or not he's a fan of the Maple Leafs, their game against the Canadiens last night, and much, much more!

There won't be a Russian Roundup or 3 Rounds Deep segment with Mr. Corallo appearing on the show, and the phone lines will be closed. However, we're on the air at 5:30pm so tune in for all the action! We're on 101.5 UMFM on your radio dial in the Winnipeg region or you can listen live between 5:30pm and 6:30pm CT on your web-enabled device at the UMFM webpage! You can tweet us anytime you like by hitting us up at @TeebzHBIC on Twitter. You can also post some stuff to Facebook if you use the "Like" feature, and I always have crazy stuff posted there that doesn't make it to the blog or show.
